Backstory
Baptized in a fiery pool of whiskey soaked rock, and schooled in the fine art of bitchin' tunes, Kes O’Hara cut her teeth playing to “tradies” in Outback pubs around Australia, from the age of 14.
No stranger to the music scene, Kes completed her apprenticeship fronting several professional cover bands, before rocking stages Australia wide as the charismatic front woman of original acts The Filthy Rich & The Kes O'Hara blues band.
Armed with an acoustic guitar, a pair of cowboy boots, job stopper tattoos and a fistful of powerful original songs, Kes sold everything and headed to the United States to see what, or who she could find.
Since then, Kes has formed and reformed Texas based original rock and roll acts Honey and Hush Money while honing her solo acoustic covers & originals.
